Emily Akkermans is Curator of Time at Royal Museums Greenwich, which is a project partner of ‘Tools of Knowledge’. Her research interests include the use of marine chronometers at sea in the nineteenth century.
Alex Butterworth (@rachkovsky) is an author of narrative history and a Digital Public Historian, both as theorist and practitioner. He is Co-Investigator on ‘Tools of Knowledge’.
Mike Dryland (@Scapegoat9) is a volunteer at Royal Museums Greenwich. He has been helping the horology and curatorial team with enquiries and research projects for the past 10 years.
Rebekah Higgitt (@rhiggitt) is a historian of science and Principal Curator of Science at National Museums Scotland. She is Co-Investigator on ‘Tools of Knowledge’.
Dorothy Mellor is a volunteer at Royal Museums Greenwich. She has been working on the chronometer ledgers for over 10 years and has transcribed key information of over 10,000 records.
Sarah Middle is a Digital Humanities specialist, working on metadata modelling and usability in a cultural heritage context. She is a postdoctoral researcher on 'Tools of Knowledge'.
Denice Penrose is project administrator on the 'Tools of Knowledge' project.
