The Team

The Wild Gabon​​ Team


The team spans from researchers in the field collecting data from camera traps to academics at the Universities of Oxford and Yale.

Charles Emogor

Charles is the researcher. He is currently completing an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management at the University of Oxford. He is an amateur naturalist, a pangolin enthusiast and is interested in mammal ecology.

Dr. Imma Oliveras

Imma is a Departmental Research Lecturer in Ecosystems Science and Deputy Programme Leader on Ecosystems at the University of Oxford. She is the Principal Investigator of this study and Charles' supervisor. She has led projects on Tropical Forest Ecology across the globe.

Dr. Anabelle Cardoso

Anabelle is a Postdoctoral Associate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University. Camera trap photos used in this study were taken as part of Anabelle's Ph.D. at the University of Oxford.

Other collaborators and field assistants

Dr. David Lehmann and Josué Edzang Ndong were actively involved in data collection.
