We're a team of researchers and volunteers working in Dr. Hillary Young's lab at the University of California, Santa Barbara. You can check out our lab webpage here. We've teamed up with the ecological monitoring unit at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, who have been critical to making this work possible. Find out more about Ol Pejeta here.
Georgia Titcomb -- Georgia is a Postdoctoral Researcher UCSB, and she headed up the watering holes project while she was a graduate student. Georgia is working on many different aspects of water sources in arid landscapes -- from the ways in which water can change host movement, vegetation, and even soil properties to influence parasites in the environment.
Jenna Hulke -- Jenna expertly managed the Watering Holes project in Kenya for two years. Although Jenna has been working on identifying wildlife parasites and vectors in the field, she is also interested in public health issues involving parasites.
John Naisikie Mantas -- John is a field assistant in Kenya who has worked on a wide range of Young lab projects. Aside from being our resident mammal expert, John is a navigational superstar in the field!
Godfrey Amooni -- Godfrey has been an assistant with the Young lab in Kenya for the past 2 years. Godfrey is our resident botanist, and can identify an enormous number of Mpala's grasses and trees to species.
