*This project is part of Caroline's PhD thesis at the University of California, Santa Barbara. *
In addition to helping set up this Zooniverse project, these undergraduate students have been hard at work in the lab at UCSB identifying other insects, developing keys and resources, and preparing soil and plant samples that will provide context for the findings from this study.

Every card that you see here on Zooniverse had to be hand-cut, labeled, and carried up into the mountains, where somebody painted it with glue and then carried it back down. We are so beyond grateful to the tough, curious, patient, and wonderful students who joined us in the mountains during summers 2019 and 2021 - thank you all!
