Dr. Travis Rector is an astrophysicist at the University of Alaska Anchorage. His research interests include not only star formation but active galaxies, classical novae, and education research. He is also a co-founder of Astronomers for Planet Earth, an organization of professional and amateur astronomers working to address climate change.
Dr. Lisa Prato is an astrophysicist at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona. Her research is primarily on young binary stars, from studies of their origin, evolution, and capacity for planet formation, to their exploitation as a means of measuring mass ratios and masses.
Ciana Dragano is an undergraduate student at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She is assisting in the search for Herbig-Haro objects.
Meghan Speckert is an undergraduate student at Northern Arizona University. She is also assisting in the search for Herbig-Haro objects.
