When the classification of paintings and printed art is finished, we will publish the results on the ATHENA portal. The results will then be used for the next step: to dive deeper and with the help of volunteers we will try to define the specific species on each work of art.

ATHENA: Spot Species in Fine Art

This project will contain two main workflows. In this first step we let you enjoy many works from the collection of paintings and you can point out if any animals, trees or plants are present in the images, in basic categories like fish, mammals, plants, birds, reptiles or amphibia. Once this first shifting has taken place, we'll dive deeper and with your help will try to define the specific species on each work of art.
