Lisa Gregory is the Program Coordinator for the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center, which partners with over 350 cultural heritage institutions throughout North Carolina to digitize and share their special collections online. Gregory helps set priorities and direction so that the Center remains responsive to partner and user needs while meeting the evolving demands of digital initiatives. Prior to the Digital Heritage Center, Gregory worked for the State Library of North Carolina's Digital Information Management Program, gaining experience in digitization project management and digital preservation outreach and education. She has an M.A. in English Literature from the University of New Mexico, and an M.S. in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Digital Curation Fellow.
Stephanie Williams is a software developer for the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center, housed within the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill University Libraries. Since receiving an M.S. in Library Science from the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008, she has focused on digital library technology, managing repository architectures and developing applications to aid digitization, description and public service workflows for archival and special collections digitization projects. Her interests include data interoperability, leveraging cloud infrastructure for library applications, and contributing to open-source software initiatives.
Kristen Merryman is the Digital Projects and Outreach Manager for the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center, where she is the primary contact of the over 350 partner institutions that the Center serves across North Carolina. Prior to working at the NCDHC, she served in positions at the Durham County Library North Carolina Collection, the North Carolina State University Special Collections Research Center, and the North Carolina State Archives, with over 15 years of experience in the cultural heritage field. Her work has primarily been in digitization of archival materials. She holds an M.S.L.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.A. in public history from North Carolina State University, and a B.A. in history and political science from UNC Greensboro.
