Finished! Looks like this project is out of data at the moment!
Chris Scott helped to instigate the original Solar Stormwatch in 2010 while working as Project Scientist for the Heliospheric Imagers on board the STEREO spacecraft. Chris is now working at the University of Reading where he and his colleagues continue to work with the analysis conducted by over 20,000 Stormwatchers, producing 7 scientific publications so far.
Shannon first become involved with Solar Stormwatch about a year ago analysing the results of the track-it-back activity, and is now continuing to work on Stormwatch as a PhD student at the University of Reading.
Jules is a long-time Zooniverse volunteer and moderator whose passion for a little research, a good spreadsheet and all things solar has led to an increased involvement in Solar Stormwatch. When not doing citizen science she can usually be found behind a telescope waiting for a gap in the clouds to image the Sun.
Luke is a space weather scientist who does research into the propagation of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) and their impacts on Earth. Working with data from the first Solar Stormwatch project, he investigated and compared the different uncertainties associated with getting citizen scientists, experts, and automated software to track CMEs from the Sun to Earth
