Karen Masters
Galaxy Zoo project scientist, Dr. Karen Masters (Haverford College and Portsmouth University) is also the Spokesperson for the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, the group which runs the MaNGA Survey. Karen has been involved in MaNGA since the beginning, and is delighted to launch this project which combines MaNGA and Galaxy Zoo.
Coleman Krawczyk
Zooniverse developer, Dr. Coleman Krawczyk (Portsmouth University) has led the technical development for this project, enabling you to draw spiral arms onto the galaxies.
Alex Todd
Alex Todd contributed to the development of this project as a summer student in Portsmouth in Summer 2016. Many of the tutorials were originally written by Alex.
Lucy Newnham
Lucy is a PhD student at Portsmouth University, working on understanding nearby spiral, and especially barred spiral galaxies.
Chris Lintott
The PI of the Universe (sorry we mean the Zooniverse). Chris is a Professor of Astrophysics at Oxford University.
Sandor Kruk
Sandor is a PhD student at Oxford University interested in understanding bars in nearby galaxies.
Brooke Simmons
Brooke is an Einstein Fellow based at UC San Diego. She is the Deputy Project Scientist for Galaxy Zoo.
