Christopher Patton is a poet and literary curator based in Toronto, Canada. In 2020, on a visit to his father and stepmother in Guerneville, California, he learned of a trove of letters, drafts and ephemera in the care of Nichae Blume, his stepmother and Bernhard and Carola’s daughter-in-law. He asked their living descendants for permission to curate an exhibition of the materials and was grateful to receive it. After the re-election of Donald Trump to the Presidency of the United States he saw how the materials might serve as a timely warning and set to work. You can see what else he’s done here.
