Results

In our first data release, more than 2000 volunteers provided >100,000 supernova classifications! We are amazed by the speed at which these classifications were made. Using these classifications we were able to determine that Zwicky Chemical Factory users are very good at classifying type II supernovae! You all were able to find about 60% of the known type II supernovae in our data set! This far outshines any existing computer classifiers.

These results are so promising we have appended another ~2000 supernovae to be classified. Let us know if you find anything interesting!
