Results
The project has led to a Best Paper Award in the 2019 NeurIPS Workshop on Machine Learning for Developing World (ML4D) with a paper called "HumBug Zooniverse: a crowd-sourced acoustic mosquito dataset". The paper was later accepted at ICASSP 2020.
Our follow-on work includes a dataset and a paper published at the 35th Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS 2021) Track on Datasets and Benchmark "HumBugDB: A Large-scale Acoustic Mosquito Dataset".
