Finished! Looks like this project is out of data at the moment!
Moritz is WWF Germany’s expert on wildlife in Germany, particularly wolves and lynxes. In this project he is particularly interested in following the advance of wolves in the WWF project areas north of Berlin. Moritz is already working closely with national and federal authorities, as well as with local communities, on facilitating the return of wolves to Germany.
Nina is WWF Germany’s expert for wildlife management. She will be evaluating the camera trap photo classifications, which will provide her with valuable information about the conservation status of the project areas. This will permit her and her colleagues to draw up improved management plans.
Jan is the student assistant of the Department of Biodiversity Policy. He is responsible for the communication between Zooniverse and WWF and the provision of the camera trap images. The data obtained can be used for scientific studies and improved management plans.
