In June 2020 I have discussed with the Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome and the University of Groningen what the next steps will entail. You can read an update on the results page.

1. Updates

Here you will find updates on the project's progress.

  • After our wild celebration (continuous dancing) we will re-start the project with the help of the University of Groningen. Students will help with the data cleaning and further processing.^

2. Some stats

  • The project ran just a week short of a year.
    -- The project ran 304 days in total.
    -- From December 12, 2017 - May 22, 2018 (162 days).
    -- From July 18, 2018 - December 5, 2018 (142 days).

  • 692 volunteers have contributed their time to the project!

  • You have transcribed 79 parishes.

  • You have transcribed and 22.389 folios.
    -- On average the project received 73,7 transcripts per day.

  • If a transcript takes four minutes for volunteers to complete, they have put a total of 1492,2 hours (62,2 days) into the project.
    -- Thank you very much for your dedication, support, and transcripts.
