Center Céramique

Joes Minus, Historian / Researcher

My name is Joes Minis, Curator of Special Collections at Center Céramique. The most important thing about citizen science projects is the active citizen participation, the active involvement of history in all its facets by ordinary people.

Dutch Rose Media

Natasja Paulssen, Director Dutch Rose Media / Head of Storytelling

I am always in for a beautiful story that is told in the right company. And the best stories start with an old building or object that then comes to life. By giving the people the opportunity to tell their stories using the scale model, we can create a complete story.

Tijdlab

Rob van Haarlem, Director of Tijdlab

Heritage belongs to everyone. By involving more people in collecting and applying the data, I want to create broader support and increase ownership of our heritage. We can also learn a lot about the application of 3D in cultural heritage. By putting this new approach into practice, I hope that in the future we'll be able to generate cities faster and more accurately without sacrificing historical accuracy.

Lars van Dorenvanck, 3D Researcher

My role is to rebuild the raw data of Maastricht as it was in 1752 to an insightful level. And I, as a glutton with an unprecedented appetite for new knowledge and applications, use this project to feed that desire.
