About Canid Camera

Young forest is disappearing across the Northeast along with many species that call these forests home. We are using camera traps to look for wildlife species that make their homes here, like the rare and declining New England cottontail rabbit, and those just passing through. By photographing wildlife in different forests we are learning how to create thriving forests and recover declining species.
