About Megamovie Maestros I
Megamovie Maestros I is a classification effort to learn more about the over 50,000 images that were taken to create the Eclipse Megamovie. The Eclipse Megamovie is a first-of-its-kind citizen science project that brought together thousands of volunteers across the United States to capture the August 2017 total solar eclipse.
With your help, our team will stitch these images together to create a never before seen in-depth look at the Sun's atmosphere as the eclipse traversed the US.
