Welcome to Rubin Comet Catchers! Update 17 September 2026: Thanks for your amazingly FAST comet classifications of Rubin data! Incredible! We have a ton of awesome updates coming, and here’s the first: we got special permission by Rubin Observatory to release images EARLY for you! We’re working on getting those data ready as fast as we can! In the meantime, we have our special set of real Rubin images that the science team figured out a clever way to get! Let’s find some cool comets in there!
