About Superluminous Supernovae
Superluminous supernovae are stellar explosions that are at least ten times brighter than normal supernovae. Intriguingly we do not yet know exactly what causes them. With your help on this project we will identify more superluminous supernovae and use these to understand more about how they are formed.
