We will upload interactive maps to this page as the collected data comes together. We will be geocoding all the telegraph offices and railroad stations recorded in the Western Union Tariff Books and the Official Guide to the Railways.

Ultimately, these interactive maps will permit users to explore railroad and telegraph offices by location, name, and by their attributes (like railroad companies, prices, etc.). Most importantly, these maps will also make use of the data generated by volunteers to let them see which stations and offices they helped to digitize.
