The Team

Jamie Rice

Jamie Rice has overseen the management of Maine Historical Society's Brown research library for the last seven years. She is serving as the Project Director for Beyond Borders, overseeing all aspects of the project, culminating in the eventual digital presentation of each of the three collections.

Henry Caiazzo

Henry Caiazzo has served as Project & Digital Archivist at Maine historical society for the last three years. He worked on a recent IMLS project which included the digitization and online presentation of the Portland Press Herald Glass Negative Collection, which is comprised of approximately 20,000 glass plate negatives. That project also included the digitization and online display of Maine Historical Society's Early Photograph Collection. He is serving as the Project Archivist/Project Manager for the Beyond Borders grant, coordinating and overseeing day-to-day activities & digitization, EAD finding aid conversion; metadata review, online presentation and assisting in user-interface development.

Tiffany has served as Maine Historical Society's Research Librarian for the last seven years. She has supervised several transcription projects, namely the on-going transcription of an historic autograph collection consisting of over 5,000 items. She will be reviewing the Talk Boards to help answer your transcription questions and is available to field historic questions related to the collections.
