





The Bird ID workflow is temporarily paused while I update the field guide and make a few improvements to the classification choices based on volunteer feedback. The workflow should be back online no later than July 11 and ready for more classifications.

Pay special attention to the wading birds, marsh birds, and shorebird tabs. These birds are common to the Back Bay of Biloxi and will likely be in many of the photos associated with this project.

This site is provides several guides on the flora and fauna of the salt marshes and tidal creeks of the Southeastern United States. The link below is the avian (bird) guide, which provides good information on several common marsh bird species. Several of the species listed are choices for this project's photo classification.
