Once you know what to look for the skinks are quite obvious in most of the image-sets in which they appear.
So that you have a general idea of what to look for, take a look at some previously classified image-sets on the discussion boards. Click 'Talk' at the top right of this page and then click on the tag 'skink' (in blue!) on the discussion boards page.

We need your help to find out when one of New Zealand's largest lizards are active. In this project you will have the opportunity to look for skinks in short clips of time-lapse footage recorded in Otago skink habitat. Otago skinks are one of the most charismatic, and most endangered lizards in New Zealand and this project aims to predict how climate change will affect their behaviour, and chance of survival in the future.
