The Team

We are a team of researchers from the Millennium Institute of Astrophysics in Chile We study the structure, kinematics, chemical evolution and star formation history of our Galaxy, the Milky Way. Our goal is to understand how did the Galaxy -and giant spirals in general- form. In this project, we use Milky Way variable stars to estimate distances and ages.
