Andrew Kamal

Researcher and Project Curator

Andrew in the past has founded an internet company, did product design for years, and built technology for a variety of private equity startups and companies. He is a heavily experienced researcher in both mathematical and quantum physics.

His main areas of research fall within the fields of: Quantum Holographics, Free Energy Entropy Systems, Quantum Entanglement, Quantum Computational Chemical Modeling, Quantum Similarity, Quantum Tunnelling and Quantum State Tomography. He also works with grid computing and shared computing systems.

Some of his projects have been utilized for highly advanced protein folding and modeling, computational drug discovery, and quantifiable astrobiology or gravitational biophysical and biomolecular simulations.

He is on Zooniverse to do surveys related to some of his research projects.

IntelliRadiology

Research Group

IntelliRadiology is focused on the utilization of software and hardware for artificial intelligence in medical imaging. Some of their research is centered around computer vision as well as regressional AI models.

Projects they have focused on building included automated tagging of CT scans and MRIs, real-time latency algorithms for ultrasounds, computer vision pipelines centered towards medical imaging quality, medical imaging devices and software, as well as virtual environments and operating systems tailored towards radiologist. They are here on Zooniverse to try building computational models based off of classified data and survey results.
