Professor Ed Hawkins and Stephen Burt

Ed Hawkins is a climate scientist who leads a joint UK-Ireland initiative to recover historical weather observations. He also developed the #ShowYourStripes project to simply communicate how each country around the globe is warming.
Stephen Burt has worked at the UK Met Office and the University of Reading on understanding past variations in the weather. He has authored a comprehensive guide to the weather in Oxford since 1767.
