Welcome! This project recently migrated onto Zooniverse’s new architecture. For details, see here.
Tatiana Acero-Cuellar
is a Ph.D Candidate at the University of Delaware in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. She is developing the Machine Learning Model that is going to provide a Real/Bogus score for every Rubin's alert.
Federica Bianco
is an Associate Professor at the University of Delaware in the Departments of Physics and Astronomy and in the Biden School of Public Policy and Administration and a Resident Faculty in the Data Science Institute. She served as Deputy Project Scientist of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory construction project. She works on all-things that change in the sky and on data-driven solutions to problems across disciplines from the sky above to the cities we live in.
Eric Bellm
is a Research Associate Professor in the University of Washington Department of Astronomy. He is the Alert Production Pipeline Group Leader for the Vera C. Rubin Observatory and is responsible for its real-time data products.
Masao Sako
is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a supernova cosmologist, measuring the expansion history of the Universe to understand cosmic acceleration and the nature of dark matter and dark energy.
Bruno O. Sánchez
is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Centre de Physique des Particules de Marseille, a CNRS laboratory hosted at the Aix-Marseille University Luminy campus, in the south of France. He is a member of the Alert Production Pipeline Group for the Vera C. Rubin Observatory, and works on Difference Image Analysis algorithms and implementation, as well as performance characterization of it using Synthetic Source Injection. He also is a member of the Dark Energy Science Collaboration and does research in the field of cosmology with Type Ia Supernovae.
