Results
What Have We Learned?
Seal Watch is an ongoing project, so we're continuing to learn more with every click. Some of our early results are clarifying how seals use breeding beaches during the breeding season and across the year. This type of data helps us to identify when we should target our efforts to conduct surveys of the population and allow us to calculate the total size of the population, even if only a portion of it is at the beach on any given day.
