Greg Guderian is a library assistant at Newark Public Library. He has worked at the Newark Public Library since 2017 and previously worked at the New Jersey Historical Society. Greg provides reference and research assistance in the New Jersey Room. He helps maintain local history collections, and curates the metadata for the Newark Eagles Papers. Greg has a PhD from the University of Toronto and has contributed to the projects An attractive presence: The world of William A. Whitehead (wawhitehead.net), newarkpoems – 350 years of Newark in verse 1666-2016 (newarkpoems.org) and The New Jersey Latin Inscriptions Project (VRBSINHORTO.wordpress.com).
Beth Zak-Cohen is a Librarian at Newark Public Library. As the 5th generation of her family to live in Newark Beth Zak Cohen is dedicated to preserving its educational legacy. She serves the city as a librarian in the Charles F. Cummings New Jersey Room at the Newark Public Library, where she manages the digital collections at digital.npl.org and assists researchers and other patrons. She has been published in Garden State Legacy and has been a co-creator on several exhibits at the library including Radical Women which won the Giles Wright Award from the New Jersey Historical Commission. She is the creator of NewarkWomen.com , a project to spotlight lesser-known women in Newark's history. Beth attended Science Park High School, Princeton University and Rutgers University.
