Don't be discouraged by plant pictures, canyon critters are waiting to be found.

About Canyon Critters

Help researchers at the University of Georgia understand how tourist infrastructure impacts wildlife communities in U.S. National Parks. We use camera traps and hair collection tunnels to detect mammals and birds in areas of extreme tourist activity like around Grand Canyon Village as well as wilderness areas along trails or backcountry campsites. Your identifications will determine which species may prefer these human-disturbed habitats vs. species that are sensitive to human activity.
