We design our projects to minimise the chance of disturbing images, but there is some risk of distressing content. Participation in this project is entirely voluntary, and participants may withdraw anytime.
This project monitors wadis for flooding, to support the delivery of humanitarian aid to hard-to-reach areas of sub-Saharan Africa. The impending rainy season will likely cut off critical supply routes, as wadis (dry riverbeds) can fill up and flood roads. Therefore, it is important to know which wadis are flooded and reroute.
