Finished! Looks like this project is out of data at the moment!

An additional class (VRO) is now available to classify the superposition of VRC and VRL signals.

Dr. Jean-Luc Margot is a planetary astronomer and UCLA professor who conducts research on the properties of planetary bodies with a variety of spacecraft and telescopes. He also conducts a search for technosignatures with UCLA SETI, which has involved more than 150 students, alumni, and friends in the search.

Megan Li joined UCLA SETI in March 2022 to pursue a PhD in the field of SETI. She has a B.S. in Physics and Astrophysics from UCSD. She is passionate about education and public outreach and she plays a leading a role in managing the Zooniverse citizen science collaboration and analyzing the science results.

Dr. Paul Pinchuk is one of only about a dozen earthlings to earn a PhD in the field of SETI. During his PhD work at UCLA, Paul enhanced many aspects of our search and developed innovative tools, including machine learning algorithms.

Ella (@ellafriess) is a third-year astrophysics student at UCLA.

Jay (@jaylindgray42) is a third-year astrophysics student at UCLA.

Jeremy (@jlin6464) is a first-year astrophysics student at UCLA.

Liam (@liampr) is a second-year astrophysics student at UCLA.

Priscella (@priyun23) is a second-year cognitive science student at UCLA.

Several UCLA SETI Course alumni helped enable this citizen science collaboration. You may meet some of them on the Talk boards.

Several SETI enthusiasts volunteered to test and facilitate the launch of our platform prior to Zooniverse's own beta test, which involved approximately 200 people. We are grateful for all of these contributions!

We are grateful to translators who are making the collaboration more accessible to non-English speakers. Fernando Nogal translated the project into Portuguese. Louis Verhaeghe translated the project into French. Thank you!
