International Digital Ephemera Project

The International Digital Ephemera Project (IDEP) at UCLA Library is an initiative to digitize, preserve and provide broad public access to print, images, multimedia, and social networking resources produced worldwide. The Universidad del Aire collection was digitized through a collaboration between the Instituto de Historia de Cuba and UCLA Library as part of IDEP.

Instituto de Historia de Cuba (IHC)

Instituto de Historia de Cuba (IHC) is dedicated to historical research and the conservation of Cuban patrimony. Founded on May 28, 1987 under the auspices of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, the principal activity of the IHC is conducting historical research. It is authorized by the Ministry of Higher Education to provide graduate level teaching for masters and doctoral students. IHC regularly hosts colloquiums, symposiums, workshops, in addition to housing historical objects, a specialized library, and a historical archive that contains 1310 linear meters of documents from the 19th and 20th century. IHC is located in the Palacio de Aldama in Central Havana.
