Examine underwater photos of wild beluga whales and help us identify the age, sex, and group size. We also need keen eyes to look for identifying marks to recognize beluga that return to this location year after year.

Beluga Bits

In Ages and Stages, we're asking community scientists to give their best guess for the age of each beluga whale. Beluga Backs looks at scars along the dorsal (back) of the whale. Be sure to review the Tutorials for helpful information for each workflow!
