To understand how galaxies formed we need your help to classify them according to their shapes. In this project we classify galaxies imaged by the Hubble Space Telescope and from cosmological simulations, made to emulate data from the Euclid survey, imaged by the VIS instrument. This will allow us to calibrate our automated galaxy classifier algorithms for Euclid, as well as to determine thresholds on observational properties that allow a reliable assessment of galaxy morphology.
