Meet the Team
Fiona Williamson is an environmental historian with interests in the climatic history of Singapore, British Malaya, and Hong Kong. Researching on climate and its impact on colonial cities and how weather shapes society, she has lead many inter-disciplinary projects with scientists and geographers. She is also the regional lead for ACRE-SE Asia, an international project for the recovery of historical weather observations in SE Asia.
Praveen Teleti is a post-doctoral researcher at Singapore Management University, working with Prof. Fiona Williamson to data-rescue historical weather observations. Also interested in tropical cyclone formation, their impacts on coastal communities, and to build resilience to adapt to climate change.
Clive Wilkinson is interested in improving global reanalyses, and extending the record of extreme weather events back in time. Member of ACRE-Ocean group.
