When will more images be added?
We typically upload images from one water year at a time, so when all of the images from one year are classified, we will upload a new batch as fast as we can. Expect new images to be added continuously at least through the remainder of the winter and spring.
Where do the images come from?
We get our data from a variety of field sites across the world. One place we download images from is the PhenoCam Network. If you’d like to explore some of the many sites hosted on PhenoCam, check out this map.
Who are the people in some of the images?
Sometimes, timelapse photos will capture researchers working at the field site. For more information about what these scientists are doing, check out the education page.
