Education

Rubin Observatory provides a wide range of free resources designed to help educators bring Rubin science and data to classrooms and lecture halls. Rubin provides real astronomical data, current scientific discoveries, and many active projects where students can participate in those discoveries. Resources can be found at: rubinobservatory.org/education.

Our project, Rubin: Blobs and Blurs, helps teach students and citizens how to analyze data from telescopes and interpret these observation. If you are interested in using Rubin: Blobs and Blurs in a educational setting, the "Stellar Safari" Investigation and its accompanying resources may be of particular interest.
