The Team

Team Members

Marek Slipski - Research Scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory studying mesospheric clouds on Mars using the Mars Climate Sounder. Earned his PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder as part of the MAVEN team investigating how Mars's atmosphere evolved over billions of years. Enjoys long runs in mountain trails, playing the drums, catching frisbees, and nerding out about baseball.

Armin Kleinboehl - Deputy Principal Investigator of the Mars Climate Sounder at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is also a Participating Scientist of the Japanese Akatsuki Venus Climate Orbiter mission. He is an expert in airborne and spaceborne remote sensing and conducts research on the thermal and aerosol structure of the atmospheres of Mars and Venus as well as on the structure and composition of Earth's middle atmosphere.

Steven Dillmann - NASA Visiting Student Researcher at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Aerospace Engineering student at Imperial College London with a strong interest in using machine learning for the exploration of space.

Jason Reimuller - Executive Director of International Institute of Astronautical Science, a citizen-science institute specializing in aeronomy, bioastronautics, operational science, and science education. He is an expert on Earth mesospheric clouds, noctilucent clouds, conducting studies through airborne campaigns.
