Help us identify bumble bees in the Washington, D.C. metro area to determine which native plants these bees like best!

Science for Bumble Bees

If this is your first time with us, please choose 'Practice Survey' so you can learn how to identify bumble bees. Also super important--finish the tutorial! The tutorial explains what to do with tricky situations. Once you have successfully completed the tutorial and practice set, use the Field Guide tab 'Practice Set Expert Identification' to check your answers (far right side). When you feel ready to classify photos, select 'Bee Survey' to start classifying bees!
