Thanks to everyone who helped launch us as an official Zooniverse project. We've created the Relaunch 2026 Round 3 workflow for additional volunteers to participate. See more about this & future plans in the Updates Talk link:

Observe wildlife by classifying trail camera images captured within our conservation areas!
Learn moreIf you already classified images from Relaunch 2026 or Relaunch 2026 duplicate, you'll want to wait for a new season with new subjects!. The Relaunch 2026 Round 3 is the same as the previous two workflows that finished quite rapidly. We created this workflow to allow for more volunteers to get involved and add to our data. Thank you for being involved with our project either way!

Let's see what wildlife are doing when it seems no one is looking! Snapshot Dubuque Iowa is a project to monitor wildlife 24/7 and year-round using a network of 25 trail cameras in five different conservation areas within the county of Dubuque, Iowa. It offers a chance for individuals, families, and students to get involved with observing the wildlife of the county. With your help, the Dubuque County Conservation Department hopes to have a better understanding of the species within these areas and how they are influenced by factors such as human development, seasonal change, and predator/prey relationships.
