About Exoplanet Explorers
Planets orbiting other stars in our galaxy are known as exoplanets.
One way we can detect whether there is a planet orbiting around another star is to look for a dip in a star’s brightness as a planet crosses (transits) in front of it.
Identifying these exoplanets provides us with a fantastic opportunity to further study the physical features of these planets, such as their atmosphere, density and chemistry.
Help us look through new data from NASA’s Kepler space telescope to find new exoplanets!
