## Rubin Observatory Education ##

Rubin Observatory provides resources for educators to bring Rubin data into the classroom, with all the support and resources educators need. [Find out more!](https://rubinobservatory.org/education)

The education investigations run in a browser - you just need a computer, tablet or phone! The investigations include:
- Coloring the Universe
- Exploding Stars
- Surveying the Solar System
- Exploring the Observable Universe
- Hazardous Asteroids
- Expanding Universe
- Stellar Safari

[Hazardous Asteroids](https://rubinobservatory.org/education/educators/investigations/hazardous-asteroids) and [Surveying the Solar System ](https://rubinobservatory.org/education/educators/investigations/surveying-the-solar-system) cover topics most closely aligned with Comet Catchers.

Join the hunt for comets in the most ambitious astronomical survey ever undertaken!

Rubin Comet Catchers

We show volunteers one or more images of known small solar system bodies (like asteroids) and ask whether or not they see evidence of activity in the form of a tail or coma (dust cloud). There are "training" images mixed in that were created from Dark Energy Camera (DECam) data, and all the rest are from Rubin.
