What is the point of this research?
Accurate snowflake categorization is critically important for predicting future global warming. Our goal is to be able to automatically classify new snowflakes with a high degree of accuracy, with the hope of eventually informing climate change predictions and models.
What is being done with my data?
We do not keep any personal information, like your name or location. We do keep the classification you submit, and we will use it to train a snowflake classification algorithm.
