Through this initiative, we are able to get the Guam community and researchers all over the globe to learn about the unique flora here on this island and the Pacific.

The University of Guam Herbarium Database was developed to showcase and preserve the plant diversity here on the island of Guam and the rest of the Pacific. We aim to transform our existing herbarium and digitize our growing number of specimens. Through this collective effort, research and collaborations among various members of the STEM community is made more efficient and fruitful.
As a token of gratitude for the work that you put in, for every 50 specimens that you digitize we will send you a herbarium sticker!
