Finished! Looks like this project is out of data at the moment!
"Candid Critters" is a North Carolina statewide citizen science project. Check out their website here: http://www.nccandidcritters.org!
"US East Coast" is a workflow that we use to describe mostly the Virginia and North Carolina area. We hope to expand this to more regions of the eastern US coast, but are still working on getting camera traps out!
"Wasatch Wildlife" is a workflow for the Utah project we have. "Woodland Park Zoo" is a workflow for the Seattle Urban Carnivore Project and the Washington Wolverine Project. More areas of the world pending review.

Volunteers at eMammal deployed hidden cameras across the world in attempts to collect photos and gather data on certain animal behaviors. eMammal projects are run by over 25 organizations, and the pipeline of data flow is managed by the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Though these data have already been tagged with animal IDs, we need your help to validate these IDs! Take a look at the following image sets and try to determine what animals were caught on camera.
These data are useful for addressing important scientific and conservation questions, and the pictures provide a unique view into the hidden world of wildlife. Read our Research page for more info!
