The Team
Emily Mason
Dr. Mason is the lead investigator of this project. She studies the corona and its many phenomena as a researcher at Predictive Science Inc. She started out as a citizen scientist in college, and has almost two decades' experience in science outreach from various volunteer organizations (including the NASA Goddard Heliophysics outreach team), and her time as a planetarium show writer and presenter.
Kara Kniezewski
Midshipman Kniezewski is the resident lead subject matter expert on Active Region Spotters. A senior at the United States Naval Academy, MIDN Kniezewski has already produced a publication on solar flare statistics and presented the results at a press conference of the American Astronomical Society.
