Research

The CHEERS project aims to find new uses for materials that are often wasted in the beer-making process.

Instead of throwing these materials away, CHEERS will use them to create five valuable products - animal feed, cleaning products, cosmetics, pet food and energy drinks.
This will help reduce the amount of resources used and the harm caused to the environment during beer production.
The project will also explore how these changes impact the wider environment, including the health of plants and animals and how land is used for farming.

As part of our research, we would like to know what societal factors and business practices you think should be prioritised when creating a new service or product.

Through Who's Responsibility is it Anyway?, you will be presented with two business practices or factors that can be considered when creating a new product or service - all we want you to do is chose which should be the biggest priority out of the two (see an example of two such practices below).

Once you have done this, you will be given the opportunity to tell us why you made the decision (if you want to or can).
