Results from Muon Hunters 1
Muon Hunters 1 originated on Zooniverse in 2017, and sought assistance from citizen scientists in identifying and classifying muons to help scientists at VERITAS to calibrate and teach telescopes how to better identify muons without human intervention.
Citizen scientists like you contributed more than one million classifications in the first week of the project. Only five out of the >120 Zooniverse projects have done so.
