Results
CritterSnap images come from a collection of nearly 88,000 photos taken since 2012, and our cameras are still rolling. The first data set we're interested in processing is from the North Foothills Open Space properties: mainly Hall Ranch, Heil Valley Ranch, and nearby acquisitions. While cameras continue to operate and collect images from a new location, our focus is getting the current set reviewed and cataloged so we can do preliminary analysis prior to planning updates.
The time frame for producing results depends on a lot of things, but especially on the length of time it takes to catalog each data set. This is where volunteers and web access to the images can really make a difference.
After we're up and running smoothly, we'll push retired images through some number-crunching software, and post those updates here.
